Meet Ji Hye Kim the chef/ founder of Miss Kim. Her restaurant, Miss Kim, is the culmination of years experimenting with her favorite childhood dishes, the pursuit of inspiration and the imagination to partner with Zingermans founders Paul Saginaw and Ari Weinzweig.

Ji Hye says that open-book management works better than a big initiative or a surprise focus on pushing dessert for a night. It allows her employees to see all the little things that go into the restaurant's success……..

Detroit chefs

Tuesday, November 12th

Candid conversations with chefs over an intimate dinner to support local digital media startups Tostada Magazine and Detour Detroit.

Detour Detroit and Tostada Magazine invite you to a dinner party celebrating Detroit chefs who have redefined authenticity through their cooking. They’ll leave their own kitchens to dine with us. At this one-night-only special event, you’ll join in on an intimate conversation with local chefs, food entrepreneurs, and journalists over Pizza Napoletana about subverting expectations and reclaiming identity through the expression of food.
